Mister Longo continues with the now tested trident Cutrone, Mancuso and Cerri while Paolo Faragò returns from the first minute after the minutes played in Palermo.
Como shows up for the first time in attack in the 7th minute with Arrigoni, who picks up a throw from Cerri and then serves the number 27 himself who puts in a cross from an extremely tight angle finding Colombi’s detour.
Reggina responded in the 14th minute with Ricci’s shot promptly rejected by Ghidotti. The teams are well closed and the opportunities in the following quarter of an hour are absent. Como had one in the 22nd minute with Cerri who was brought forward by the attentive Colombo on a corner kick.
The Larians have a great opportunity with Cutrone who recovers the ball in midfield, jumps three Reggina defenders, enters the area and serves Mancuso who ends just wide.
Thus ends the first half on the result of 0-0.

Same 22 on the pitch in the second half but the match didn’t offer much inspiration until the 60th minute when Mancuso recovered the ball on the edge of the area and launched Cutrone who, with a fine control, overtook Gagliolo and finished on goal, finding Colombi’s good response. On the ensuing corner kick Binks heads in and sees the ball go just wide.
Como continues to attack, first Cerri is stopped in the area by the host defence, then Bellemo widens for Cutrone who crosses in the middle, Cerri’s header misses the target and as the action develops, Reggina’s defense deflects for a corner.
Como again, Cutrone receives from Vignali, dribbles the defender on the edge of the area on the left and puts in a cross shot that Cerri doesn’t catch for a very short while.
However, Reggina finds a penalty for a handball by Bellemo in the 78th minute which Hernani scores. Como responds immediately with Blanco, as soon as he enters who serves Bellemo in the area, the captain puts in the middle but the defense rejects.
Gabrielloni and Ambrosino also enter in the final but Como fails to equalize.
