For his debut on the Larian bench Moreno Longo chooses the 4-3-1-2 confirming Cesc Fàbregas in the role of attacking midfielder and captain, and the couple Cutrone – Mancuso for the attack. The first opportunity is for Como, the Larians start aggressive and right on the pressure of Blanco and Cagnano the home defense returns badly allowing Fàbregas to recover the ball and serve Faragò, who from distance pulls a razor that comes out very little. The Como pushes in the first minutes forcing the hosts in their own half from which they come out only thanks to great individual plays without ever going to the shot. Cosenza, however, takes courage and finds the advantage with a shot from Christian D’Urso who slips into the corner and beats Ghidotti. Como immediately tries to come forward with Vignali who on Matosevic’s rejection at the edge of the area ends first with the ball that ends slightly high. Como seeks a draw, Cutrone checks on a Faragò cross and in the area ends just above the crossbar. However, it is Cosenza to find the doubling with Migliore. However, Como found the equalizer in the 40th minute with Luca Vignali who dribbled an opponent from the edge of the area and scored a goal by beating Matosevic. So we go to the locker room with Cosenza leading 2-1.
Same 22 on the field in the second half, Como goes very close to par with Fàbregas who launches Mancuso in the fourth minute, 77 controls and concludes on the net finding the great deviation of Matosevic. The Larians try again, this time with a conclusion by Blanco from the edge that comes out a little. Longo puts Cerri for Mancuso in the 62nd minute, adding centimeters to the Larian attack. Como immediately tries to find its own ram with Cutrone who, served by Fàbregas on the right, puts in the middle for the number 27 who is anticipated by the head of the defense intervention. Cerri again, at 65 ‘this time served by Vignali always on the right, his header comes out just wide. Como tries again, Fàbregas with a valuable heel frees Vignali from the edge but his conclusion collides with the home defense. Longo at 70 ‘puts both Da Riva and Chajia for Blanco and Faragò. The number 7 immediately shows off with a descent from the left and a conclusion from the edge that comes out a little to the side. At 12 ‘from the end, Parisians and Gabrielloni enter for Cagnano and Cutrone. At 10 from the end, Como is outnumbered by the expulsion of Binks for a yellow card. Cosenza finds the 3-1 goal with a header from Meroni. The Como in the final also takes a stake with Parisians, but the Larians come out defeated by Gigi Marulla.
