Given the absences in the midfield, Guidetti opts for Faragò from the first minute and, given the good performances at the start of the season, Liam Kerrigan also starts.
At the fifth minute Como conquers a corner and becomes dangerous with Cerri’s header, a crushed shot that is not caught by Celeghin for a very short time; on the development of the action the conclusions of Cerri and Parigini are rejected by the home defense.
At 12 ‘Frosinone answers that after a couple of attempts on a corner kick Lucioni free well, who sends out a little with his head.

The first half thus ends with Frosinone leading one to zero.

In the second half, Guidetti immediately puts Cagnano for Ioannou and Baselli for Celeghin.
Shortly afterwards, Blanco also enters in place of Parisians for Como. Meanwhile, Cerri opens from the middle of the field for Vignali who runs the entire range and puts in the middle low shot, the ball is deflected by the defense, Faragò rushes forward and tries the safe blow from before but the shot ends slightly high. Still Como, who conquers a corner after two minutes, is in charge of the serve by Kerrigan but Turati comes out well and wins a foul.
The Frosinone, however, takes advantage of the spaces left by Como and finds the doubling with Samuele Mulattieri on 28 ‘. Patrick Cutrone also enters for Luca Vignali. Como shows up with a nice Cerri-Blanco exchange, the Spaniard reaches the conclusion from a tight angle but finds the home defense rejected.
Como tries in the final minutes this time freeing Kerrigan from the edge of the area, but his shot hits the host defense.
