Moreno Longo is the new Como coach

Como 1907 is pleased to announce that it has entrusted Moreno Longo with the position of coach of the first team. The technician has signed a two-year contract with the Larians until June 2024.
Born in Turin in 1976 and raised in football in the grenade youth teams, he made his debut in Serie A with his hometown team and then wore the shirts of Lucchese, Chievo Verona, Cagliari, Teramo, Pro Vercelli and Alessandria.
He started coaching at the age of 30, starting from the Filadelfia Paradiso youth teams to then move on to the Canavese and the following year, to the Turin youth teams. In 2012 he was promoted to coach of the Primavera, bringing the Scudetto back to the grenade in 2015 after more than 20 years.
In the 2016/17 season he made his debut with a first team, Pro Vercelli, obtaining salvation in Serie B. The following year with Frosinone he won promotion to Serie A at the playoffs. In 2020 he replaces Walter Mazzarri on the Turin bench, saving the team in the Italian top league. In 2021 he moved to Alexandria, winning the playoffs and bringing the grays back to Serie B.
