Como 1907 is pleased to announce the acquisition of trequartista Simone Verdi from Torino on a 2-year contract with an option for a third.

Verdi brings with him to Como a long experience in Serie A, with 231 league appearances, 37 goals and 32 assists.

Before Torino, Verdi wore the jerseys of Empoli, Bologna, Napoli, Salernitana and Hellas Verona.

Growing up in AC Milan’s youth sector, his talent allowed him to gain international experience in the Spanish La Liga with Eibar and collect four appearances with the senior national team.

It is an interesting team and one that, in my opinion, can fight for important goals; we know that Serie B is a very difficult league and we have to put a lot of humility into it, no match is a given.
