ACADEMY TALENT CRISTIAN MAZZARA SIGNS FIRST PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT WITH COMO 1907

Como, 15 July 2025 – Como 1907 is proud to confirm that Cristian Mazzara has signed his first professional contract with the club.

A product of the Bianco Blu Academy, Cristian joined Como at just eight years old. Over the past decade, he has grown through every level of the youth system, becoming a standout performer for the Primavera side.

Born in 2007, the left-sided winger made 26 appearances during the 2024/25 season, contributing nine goals and nine assists. Known for his technical quality, creative instinct, and maturity on the pitch, Cristian represents the strength and ambition of Como’s youth development pathway.

“This is a special moment – not just for Cristian, but for everyone who has supported his journey from the Academy to the first professional contract,” said Osian Roberts, Head of Development at Como 1907. “Cristian worked very hard last season to recover from his knee injury and it was great to see him back on the field in January. He’s a talented left winger who can both make and score goals. This year, we’ll be looking for more consistency in his performances – but his talent is there for all to see.”

Mazzara becomes the latest player to progress from the Como 1907 Academy, reinforcing the club’s long-term commitment to developing homegrown talent.
