COMO 1907 SIGNS FORMER SPANISH NATIONAL CAPTAIN VERÓNICA BOQUETE

Como, 14 July 2025 – Como 1907’s Women’s Team is pleased to confirm the signing of Verónica Boquete ahead of the 2025/26 season.

A player of great experience and character, Boquete brings a wealth of technical quality to Como, shaped by an international career that has spanned the top divisions in Europe and the United States. The former Spain captain, with over 50 appearances for the national team, has played for clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Portland Thorns, AC Milan and Fiorentina—earning a reputation for leadership, intelligence, and consistency at every stop.

Her arrival marks a significant addition as Como 1907 continues to build for the new campaign. Boquete will play an important role not only on the pitch, but also in guiding a young and ambitious squad through the challenges of the season ahead.
