Italian Youth National Team Talent Lorenzo Bonsignori Joins Como 1907 Primavera
Como 1907 is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Lorenzo Bonsignori, from Atalanta. Bonsignori is considered one of the most promising prospects in the Italian football scene and joins a Como Academy that aspires to become a breeding ground for Italian talent.
Last season, he made 15 appearances across Primavera 1, Coppa Italia and the UEFA Youth League, scoring two goals in European competitions against Celtic and Dinamo Kyiv.
His journey hasn’t been limited to club competitions: Lorenzo has already worn the Italian Under-18 National Team jersey, with which he has played four international matches, confirming his potential even on high-level stages.
His arrival at Como represents a further step in the Club’s development strategy, which firmly focuses on developing young Italian players, with the dream of becoming the home of national players.
Osian Roberts, Head of Development at Como 1907, commented: “We are delighted to bring Lorenzo Bonsignori to Como 1907. He is one of the brightest prospects in Italian youth football and this is something very important to the football club. We want to develop Italian players, and we hope he can continue to develop with us. He is an exciting, attacking and creative young player and he will really help the Primavera team this season.”
Lorenzo Bonsignori added: “I strongly believe that Como is the right team for me at this moment. The Bianco Blu project perfectly matches my characteristics and values. I can’t wait to get started and give my all for this shirt, with the goal of helping my teammates and reaching Primavera 1 all together.”
