MARTIN BATURINA JOINS COMO 1907
Como 1907 is delighted to announce the arrival of Croatian international Martin Baturina, who will officially become a Lariani player on 1 July 2025. The midfielder has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.
Regarded as one of the brightest young talents in his position in European football, Baturina brings with him vision, flair and a creative edge that matches the ambition of the project. A product of the famed Dinamo Zagreb academy, he made 165 appearances for the club’s first team, contributing 22 goals and lifting four league titles, two Croatian Cups and two Super Cups.
His European pedigree is already well established—38 appearances in UEFA competitions, three goals, and standout performances against Milan and Monaco in the Champions League. In the 2024/25 season, Baturina added four goals and eight assists in the domestic league, underlining his reputation as a decisive presence in midfield.
Head coach Cesc Fàbregas welcomed the signing:
“Martin is a player of immense quality. He’s intelligent on the ball, strong in duels, and has the personality to make things happen in key moments. He fits exactly the kind of football we’re building here.”
Speaking after signing, Baturina said:
“I am very happy to be here in Como, a team with a great project based in a beautiful city. I have spoken with the club and the coach, and I am really looking forward to starting this new experience and taking to the pitch in this shirt.”
