Como-Sudtirol: First Win for the Lariani
Como-Südtirol | 32nd Frecciarossa Coppa Italia | Saturday 16/08/2025 | Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia
A brace from Greek striker Tasos Douvikas and a goal from French midfielder Lucas Da Cunha sealed the Coppa Italia win for Como 1907, who defeated Südtirol 3-1.
The Biancoblù’s return to the Sinigaglia also marked the debut of Spanish forward Álvaro Morata, who joined Como in recent days during the summer transfer window.
After conceding an early penalty, Como responded with three goals in just three minutes — two from Douvikas and one from Da Cunha — to turn the match around and secure the final 3-1 scoreline.
Focus now shifts to the opening Serie A Enilive fixture, scheduled for Sunday 24 August at the Sinigaglia, where Como will face Lazio.
