Argentine midfielder Maximo Perrone scored his first goal of the season to secure a 1–1 draw for Como 1907 away to Champions League side Atalanta at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo.

Croatian midfielder Martin Baturina made his first start for Biancoblù, while at the back, Diego Carlos delivered another composed performance in his third consecutive start, earning him the Panini Player of the Match award.

Next week, several players will join their national teams during the international break, as the team begins preparations for the upcoming home fixture against Juventus on 19 October.
