Bianco Blu Players Called up for International Duty

Ten Biancoblù players have been called up to represent their national teams during the October international break, proudly flying the flag for Como 1907 between 8 and 14 October 2025.

With 2026 World Cup qualifiers, European Championship fixtures and international friendlies on the schedule, it’s set to be a week full of exciting challenges for our Lariani.

Here are the players called up this week:

  • Nico Paz will be part of the Argentine squad for friendly matches against Venezuela and Puerto Rico.
  • Martin Baturina and Ivan Smolčić will join Croatia NT in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Gibraltar.
  • Tasos Douvikas has been called up by Greece for the World Cup qualifiers against Scotland and Denmark.
  • Mërgim Vojvoda, captain of Kosovo, will lead his national team in qualifying matches against Slovenia and Sweden.
  • Stefan Posch will represent Austria in qualifying matches against San Marino and Romania.
  • Jesús Rodriguez will wear the Spain jersey in World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Bulgaria.
  • While Jacobo Ramón and Álex Valle will play for Spain’s Under-21 team in the European Championship qualifiers against Norway and Finland.
  • Jayden Addai has been called up to the Dutch Under-21 national team for friendlies against Bosnia and Lithuania.

The Biancoblù family will be proudly supporting our players as they represent both Como 1907 and their national teams.
