Como 1907 Announces the signing of French International Jonathan Ikoné

Como 1907 is delighted to announce that Nanitamo Jonathan Ikoné has joined the club on loan from ACF Fiorentina until the end of the season with option to buy.

The French International who scored on his senior debut was part of Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy before making his professional debut with PSG in 2016. In 2018 Ikoné moved to Lille OSC, where he played a pivotal role in their 2020–21 Ligue 1 title-winning campaign before joining Fiorentina in January 2022.

On securing the move, Head Coach Cesc Fàbregas commented: “Jonathan’s dynamic style of play, versatility and experience in top-flight football will be invaluable to us. His ability to break down defenses and create opportunities aligns perfectly with our attacking philosophy.”

Jonathan Ikoné shared his excitement about joining Como 1907: “I’m really happy to be here and want to give my all to help the team win. Before arriving, I spoke with Fàbregas and assistant coach Diego Perez, whom I know from my time at Lille. The coach explained the project and his ideas to me, and I really appreciate his approach because he loves attacking football and always aims to play it as much as possible. Como is also a beautiful city—I’ve already taken a walk by the lake, and it was wonderful.”
