For several years, Como 1907 has stood alongside the Fondazione Somaschi and the Comunità dell'Annunciata, sharing a deep conviction that sports can be an extraordinary tool for inclusion, personal growth, and social empowerment.
Among the various supported initiatives, FuoriClasse holds a special place in the Club's heart. It is a project that leverages football to offer young people a safe space to build relationships, gain self-confidence, and experience the power of teamwork, playing a vital role in their educational journey and development.
Over the years, Fondazione Como ETS has provided concrete support to numerous initiatives led by Fondazione Somaschi: from the Piano Freddo, a project assisting non-housed individuals during the winter months, to supporting Unaccompanied Foreign Minors (MSNA) hosted by the Comunità dell'Annunciata, enabling these young individuals to participate in sports activities and gain fundamental life experiences.
Today, this commitment is renewed through a brand-new intervention: Fondazione Como ETS has contributed to the renovation of the Comunità dell'Annunciata's pitch, a space that daily welcomes not only the youth from the FuoriClasse project, but also the young residents of the community.
The pitch represents far more than just a place to play football: it is an educational hub for gathering and connection, where relationships are forged, and where respect for rules and the value of collaboration are learned. Restoring it to the youth in fully safe conditions ensures they have a nurturing environment to keep growing, having fun, and building their future through sports.
For Como 1907 and Fondazione Como ETS, investing in these spaces means investing in people. Because every field restored to the community is one more opportunity to turn football into a force for positive, lasting impact across our territory.
The new pitch will be inaugurated on Sunday, October 4th. On this occasion, the Comunità dell'Annunciata will open its doors for a dedicated Open Day, welcoming anyone who wishes to learn more about the educational projects, activities, and pathways carried out daily in support of these young individuals and the wider community.
