Above the pitch: Como 1907 and Inter Campus together for a Social Exchange

On April 21, during the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final between Inter and Como, the Larian club took part in a special day dedicated to solidarity, held as part of the Social Exchange initiative promoted by Inter Campus.

The day began in Monza at the Centro Maria Letizia Verga, where delegations from both clubs visited the spaces dedicated to Sport Therapy. This long-standing project, a collaboration between Inter Campus, the Maria Letizia Verga Foundation, and the San Gerardo Hospital, utilizes physical activity as a fundamental support tool for children undergoing treatment.

The visit to the Centro Maria Letizia Verga was a moment of profound connection, allowing representatives from both clubs to see the support activities firsthand and, most importantly, to share moments of play and joy with the young patients.

The delegations then continued to the Tettamanti Foundation laboratory, the heart of the center's scientific research. Accompanied by researcher Sarah Tettamanti, the participants gained insight into the high-level work carried out daily in the lab, with a specific focus on the research project supported by the “Quelli che… con Luca ODV” association, an organization that Como 1907 has proudly supported since 2022. This bond between the Association and the BiancoBlu club has strengthened over time through numerous initiatives, including Como’s significant decision to donate the profits from the 2024/25 third kit sales to Quelli che… con Luca ODV.

In the afternoon, the heart of the activity moved to Milan, to the Piccolo San Siro. There, under the guidance of Inter Campus coaches, children from the two teams, representing the Centro Maria Letizia Verga and Progetto Arca, took to the pitch. Amid smiles and footballs, the young protagonists enjoyed an afternoon of sport centered on inclusivity, reinforcing a fundamental message: football belongs to everyone, and its primary mission is to bring happiness.

To conclude an emotion-filled day, the children headed to the San Siro Stadium to watch the Coppa Italia semi-final between Inter and Como live. In the stands, their cheering and passion were the perfect end to an experience that celebrated the game in its purest form.

For Como 1907, days like this confirm that true victory lies in the ability to "make a team" far beyond the 90 minutes of play, putting sport at the service of those facing the most difficult challenges.
