Como 1907 will be proudly represented by Matteo Albini, Achille Cauli, and Joao Cardozo, who have been called up to the Italy Under-18, Italy Under-17, and Lebanon Under-20 teams, respectively.

Left back Matteo Albini, born in 2009, who played regularly for the BiancoBlu Primavera last season, is part of the squad led by head coach Daniele Franceschini that is currently competing in the Mediterranean Games.

The "Azzurrini" made their tournament debut on Saturday, August 22, at the "Via del Mare" stadium in Lecce, drawing 1-1 with Albania in a match where Albini started on the left flank. In the second match, which Italy lost 3-1 to Algeria, Matteo Albini was once again in the starting lineup. In the third match, Italy won 3-0 against Kosovo, advancing to the next round. In the semifinals, the "Azzurrini" will face Tunisia in Taranto at 9:00 PM.

BiancoBlu forward Achille Cauli, born in 2010, who played last season for both the Under-17 and Primavera teams, has been called up by head coach Manuel Pasqual to participate in the Telki Cup with Italy’s Under-17 team. The Under-17 national team, the reigning European champions, will face Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Hungary in the 45th edition of the Telki Cup, with the "Azzurrini" playing all three matches at the Global Football Park in Telki, Hungary.

Achille Cauli started in the opening match, which Italy tied 3-3 against Turkey. The second group match is scheduled for Friday, August 28, at 3:15 PM against Hungary, followed by the final match on Sunday, August 30, at 5:30 PM against Hungary.

Center back Joao Cardozo, born in 2007, has been called up by Lebanon’s Under-20 team to play in three qualifying matches for the Under-20 Asian Cup.

As part of Group A alongside South Korea and Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon will play all three matches at the Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Joao Cardozo and Lebanon will play their first match on Monday, August 31, at 4:00 p.m. against South Korea. The second match will be on Thursday, September 3, at 8:00 p.m. against Kyrgyzstan, before closing out the group stage with a second match against South Korea scheduled for Sunday, September 6, at 8:00 p.m.

The BiancoBlu family will proudly follow Matteo, Achille, and Joao as they represent Como 1907 with their respective national teams.
