Alpha League: Sant'Elia wins it all

Great success at the Tardini Stadium in Parma for the first edition of the Alpha League, the largest national 11-a-side football tournament reserved for high schools from the 17 cities of the Serie A Enilive 2025/2026. The event, born within the "A Tutta Classe" project of the Lega Calcio Serie A, was organized by ASD Organizzazione Nazionale Sport Studentesco.

This important showcase marked the historic first participation of Como 1907. Representing the Larian colors on the pitch were the students of the Istituto Sant'Elia from Cantù, who embarked on an extraordinary journey through Italy's most prestigious venues. A top-tier traveling path saw the boys experience stages like true professionals: from the round of 16 in Florence at the Gino Bozzi municipal stadium, to the quarterfinals at the prestigious Juventus training center in Vinovo, passing through the semifinal at the historic Arena Civica in Milan. The culmination of this incredible adventure took place on Saturday, June 6th, right on the pitch of the Tardini Stadium, where the Sant'Elia students crowned a perfect run by triumphing in the final and capturing the Champions title.

In addition to the great sporting success, the tournament represented an unforgettable experience for all the students. For many of them, the Alpha League was a true opportunity for redemption, a way to start believing in themselves, their abilities, and their dreams again, while cementing friendships that will last over time.

Como 1907 embraced the initiative from the very beginning, actively supporting the team and the staff by providing official presentation kits and match uniforms. This involvement made the boys feel like an integral part of the biancoblu family and allowed them to stand out at every stage, receiving compliments from organizers and institutions for their demonstrated elegance and professionalism.

Despite the upcoming change on the bench, with the current coach preparing for state exams and the subsequent "passing of the baton," the bond between Istituto Sant'Elia and Como 1907 is now unbreakable. Next season, the boys will have the pride and honor of defending the title as reigning champions, driven by the support and affection of the entire city.
