Bianco Blu Players Called Up For November’s International Duty

For the last international break of 2025, Como 1907 will once again be proudly represented around the world.

Here’s the list of the Lariani players who have been selected to participate in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the Under-21 European Championships, and various international friendlies.

• Nico Paz and Máximo Perrone will join the Argentinian national team for their friendly match against Angola.

• Assane Diao will play for the Senegal national team in friendly matches against Brazil and Kenya. 

• Mërgim Vojvoda, captain of the Kosovo national team, will lead his side in World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Switzerland.

• Stefan Posch will represent Austria in World Cup qualifiers against Cyprus and Bosnia and Herzegovina,

• Young Spanish players Jacobo Ramón, Álex Valle and Jesús Rodríguez have been selected for Spain’s Under-21 team to play in the European Championship qualifiers against San Marino and Romania.

• Jayden Addai has been called up by the Dutch Under-21s for the European Championship qualifiers against Slovenia and Israel.

Five players from the Lariani youth sector will also be playing for their respective national teams:

• The young Italian talent Cristiano De Paoli will continue his journey at the Under-17 World Cup. The Azzurrini finished the group stage with nine points after beating Bolivia, Qatar, and South Africa, qualifying for the round of 16.

• Under-17 Bianco Blu goalkeeper Dylan Sgarbi has been called up for a training camp with the Swiss national team, which will take place at the Macolin National Sports Center from November 24 to 26.

• Lyfe Oldenstam, winger for the Bianco Blu Primavera team, will play with the Dutch Under-19 national team in three qualifying matches for the U19 European Championships against Cyprus, Kazakhstan, and Ireland.

• Francesco Andrealli, captain of the Bianco Blu Primavera team, joins the Peruvian senior national team for friendly matches against Russia and Chile.

• Kristiāns Mežsargs, also from Primavera, has been called up by the Latvian Under-21 national team for the European Championship qualifiers against Northern Ireland and Malta.

The young Bianco Blu players currently on loan also continue their development, receiving important recognition from their respective national teams.

Italian player Fabio Rispoli, currently on loan at Catanzaro, has been called up by the Under-20s for friendlies against Portugal and Germany. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Noel Törnqvist, on loan at Mjällby AIF, will play with the senior Swedish national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Slovenia.
