The matchday began with an award ceremony honoring Tessa Wullaert as the top scorer of the 2025–26 season, and it was the Belgian forward who set up Como's opening goal: a through ball to Haavi, who found the back of the net from close range in the 12th minute. Just thirteen minutes later, the Norwegian winger doubled the lead with a shot from outside the box that beat Estevez.
In the second half, Milan pulled one back in the 69th minute when Grimshaw tapped the ball into the net, but Como held firm and struck again: first, in the 90th minute, Wiankowska scored with a chip shot; then, in the 92nd minute, Wullaert sealed the BiancoBlu's first victory in Serie A Women.
At the end of the game, Emilie Haavi was named MVP.
