Since 2021, Como 1907 and the Teatro Sociale di Como – AsLiCo have shared a path that brings together two historic excellences deeply rooted in the local territory, with the aim of enhancing the city, promoting culture and actively engaging the community.
This well-established collaboration is driven by the desire to build an authentic dialogue between sport and culture. “Two worlds that may seem distant, but are actually able to connect with different audiences through emotion, passion and a sense of belonging, creating opportunities for connection, participation and shared growth,” underlines Barbara Minghetti, Artistic Director of the Teatro Sociale di Como – AsLiCo.
In this context, the 2025/26 season of the Teatro Sociale, titled Fairplay and dedicated to the world of sport in view of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, has represented a natural ground for collaboration with Como 1907, which has always been committed to promoting sporting values both on and off the pitch.
This synergy has taken shape through concrete initiatives involving fans, audiences, schools, and families: events, educational activities and moments of participation that have helped portray Como as a city capable of connecting different forms of expression, always placing the community at its core.

Within this framework, Fondazione Como ETS has also supported Little Bear and the Ice Mountain, a production of the new season of the Teatro Sociale di Como.
The performance addresses urgent issues such as climate change and glacier melting through a story that is accessible to children, yet meaningful for all ages. It is a tale that focuses on the relationship between humans and nature, highlighting responsibility and the consequences of our actions, using the language of opera and music to transform a complex topic into an engaging experience. A project that combines art and education, in line with the values promoted by the Foundation.
In this case, sustainability is not only a narrative theme, but also a guiding principle throughout the production process, from material choices to the attention given to the environmental impact of the tour.

“With Como 1907, we have built a dialogue capable of generating value for the territory and for future generations. Projects like Little Bear and the Ice Mountain represent this shared commitment to sustainability and education: speaking to children and young people through art means contributing to the development of more aware, informed, and responsible citizens,” continues Barbara Minghetti, emphasizing how collaboration between different realities enables the development of innovative projects and enhances Como in all its identities.
The performance will take place at the Teatro Sociale di Como on May 7 and 8, 2026 for school performances, while on Saturday, May 9, 2026, it will be open to the public with two shows dedicated to families, offering a participatory experience that combines music, theatre, and direct audience engagement.
