Como 1907 Celebrates Earth Day

On the occasion of Earth Day, Como 1907 involved its BiancoBlu youth academy players in a special initiative dedicated to environmental protection.

Como 1907 thus confirms its commitment to sustainability through an initiative that is part of a broader journey aimed at fostering greater awareness and increasingly responsible behaviours.

The ClubHouse at the G. Sinigaglia Stadium hosted the boys and girls of the Larian youth sector for an educational experience designed to bring younger generations closer to respect for the territory and natural heritage.

The initiative, carried out in collaboration with Lario Moon, a cultural project born on Lake Como, offered participants a journey made of games, creativity and moments of discussion, with the aim of introducing them in a simple and direct way to the protection of natural resources, with a special focus on water and Lake Como.

The event featured Emmsì, the project’s symbolic character, developed by a team of creatives with the goal of translating ecological themes into an accessible and engaging language, capable of speaking to young people through visual and narrative storytelling.

Guided by this character, the youngsters took part in interactive activities ranging from memory games focused on recycling to quizzes on the water cycle, turning learning into a moment of discovery and healthy competition.

The collaboration between Como 1907 and Lario Moon is not a standalone event, but reflects a shared vision of raising awareness among younger generations by promoting respect for nature and the enhancement of the Larian territory in a concrete and engaging way.

This initiative fits within the Club’s broader vision of social and environmental responsibility: a commitment that sees Como 1907 consistently investing in education and leading by example, convinced that the involvement of young people is key to the care and protection of our planet.
