Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of defender Osinachi Ohale, who joined the BiancoBlu during the summer transfer window.
Born in 1991, Ohale arrives in Como following her time with Pachuca in Mexico.
Her career began in Nigeria in 2008 and has since taken her to the United States, Sweden, Spain and Mexico. She also spent time in Italy with Roma in 2020.
Ohale brings significant international experience, having represented Nigeria for more than 15 years and won the Africa Cup of Nations five times.
Nils Nielsen, Technical Director of Como 1907 Women's, stated: "Osinachi is a very experienced and good defender. Representing Nigeria for more than 15 years, many as captain, her international experience is extremely valuable for us. Her ability to place herself in the right spot defensively, and her 1 on 1 skills in marking as well as aerial strengths will help the team for sure".
Commenting on her arrival, Osinachi Ohale said: "I'm happy to return to Italy and embark on this new experience here in Como; I have a very positive feeling about it. I'm ready to do whatever the coach asks of me to help the team."
