The opening match of the 2026 Serie A Women’s Cup has come to a close, with visitors Juventus securing a 0–2 victory. Against the stunning backdrop of the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium and in front of a large crowd, the BiancoBlu put in an intense performance that kept them in the game throughout against last season’s third-placed side.
Selena Mazzantini’s team created several scoring opportunities, but Juventus ultimately secured the win thanks to goals from Redondo and Chiba.
Focus now shifts to the second match of the Women’s Cup for Group C next Saturday, as the BiancoBlu face Milan at the Vismara Sports Centre, with kick-off at 8.30 pm.
