Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of 2007 born defender Almamy Soumah ahead of the club’s first season in Primavera 1.
Soumah joins Como from Tau, where he gained valuable senior experience last season through regular appearances in Serie D and the Coppa Italia Serie D. He also featured for the Rappresentativa Serie D Team at the Viareggio Cup, making four appearances as the side reached the quarterfinals.
Able to play at both full back and centre back, Soumah brings versatility, technical quality and physical strength to Gianluca Falsini’s squad as the team prepares to compete in Primavera 1 and the UEFA Youth League.
Osian Roberts, Head of Development at Como 1907, said: "Almamy is a player with great physical strength and quality on the ball. He brings us experience because he already played with seniors and this will be important during this season".
