Como 1907 secured all three points at the Sinigaglia with a 2–0 victory over Sassuolo, making it three consecutive wins in all competitions and taking the league tally to 17 points.
The BiancoBlu made a lively start, creating chances from the opening whistle and seeing a goal from Da Cunha ruled out for offside. The first half then settled into a more balanced contest, with both sides taking time to find their rhythm.
Cesc Fàbregas’s side wasted no time after the break, taking the lead in the 48th minute. Douvikas finished confidently after being set up by Caqueret. Just 12 minutes later, the Greek forward struck again, sliding the ball home in the 60th minute after Kaiki won possession with a well-timed tackle and provided the assist.
Como continued to create further opportunities, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle, confirming a 2–0 win for the home side.
The BiancoBlu will be back in action in just three days, travelling to face Torino on Tuesday, 27 October, with kick-off scheduled for 8.45 pm.
