Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of Emil Audero from Sampdoria on a four year contract. The goalkeeper was on loan with Scudetto winning team Inter Milan last season.
The Indonesian born player began his career at Juventus, a former youth international player for Italy UEFA included him in their list of the most promising European players of his generation.
Cesc Fàbregas, head coach, Como 1907, commented on the deal: “Emil is a great addition to the squad. He’s played in the top level of Italian football and we believe he will be an important player this season and beyond, growing with us as we continue this ambitious project.”
On signing, Emil commented:”I am very happy, delighted, and above all, very proud to be starting a new and important chapter.”
“I anticipate a difficult season because we can’t take anything for granted. As a result, we will have to be good at asserting ourselves and show that we are not merely a team with many new players, but a united team capable of achieving important results.”
