Como 1907 is delighted to announce the signing of Italian attacking midfielder Mattia Liberali until 2031.
Born in 2007, Liberali developed through AC Milan's academy before joining Catanzaro, where he made 24 appearances last season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
A technically gifted and creative player, he has represented Italy throughout the youth levels and most recently featured for the Under-19s at the European Championship.
Como 1907 head coach Cesc Fàbregas said: "Mattia is a creative player with excellent technical ability and confidence in possession. He can operate in tight spaces, create chances and contribute in the final third. We believe his qualities fit our style and look forward to helping him continue his development."
On his arrival in Como, Mattia Liberali said: "It's a real thrill to be able to start my journey at Como. I'm really keen to develop and improve, and I've found we share a lot of common ground with the club in this regard. I've also spoken to the manager, and I think the playing philosophy is perfect for me. I can't wait to take to the pitch at the Sinigaglia and meet the fans."
