Como 1907 is delighted to announce that Máximo Perrone will join the club on loan from Manchester City. The creative midfielder joins the club after an excellent pre-season on a one year loan deal with option to extend.
The 21-year-old Argentinian midfielder moved to the Premier League in January 2023 on a five-and-half year deal with Manchester City and made his senior debut shortly after in a 4-1 win over Bournemouth. He then went on loan to Las Palmas last season.
An Argentinian Youth International, Perrone played for the Under-16s and was part of the national squad at the Under-20 South American Championship in Colombia in January.
Cesc Fàbregas, head coach of Como 1907 said: “It’s exciting to have such a versatile player as Perrone join us. His recent preseason performance demonstrated his link up play and creativity in the midfield.”
On signing for the club, Máximo said: “I’m very happy to be here in this club and this city, I’m really looking forward to start playing. I think it’s a step that I need in my career to keep growing, the idea of the coach suits me, and I like the style of play. It’s also a very interesting club, with a quality squad and that’s why I decided to come here”
