Como 1907 signs Serie B defender Ludovica Falloni
Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of defender Ludovica Falloni with a contract until the end of the season.
A central defender born in Rome in 2001, Ludovica began her career in Serie C with Grifone Gialloverde before moving to Lazio’s Youth Academy the following season.
Wearing Lazio’s jersey, Ludovica quickly rose through the ranks, eventually earning a starting position on the first team in 2020. That same year, the young defender from Rome won the Serie B Championship, securing promotion to Serie A. At 19, she made her debut in Italy’s top Women’s league and she also wore the national jersey after being called up to the Under 23 National Team.
In the 2023/24 season, Ludovica won the Serie B Championship with Lazio, achieving her second Serie A promotion. After five seasons with the Lazio’s jersey, she left the team and moved back to Serie B.
Ludovica joins Como 1907 after playing the first part of the season with Freedom F.C.
Heather O’Reilly, advisor to Como 1907’s Women’s team, commented: “Ludovica is a defensive player with Serie A and Serie B experience. We need to constantly seek to improve and grow in order to reach our goals. She will add another element of security defensively, and we are looking forward to having her join our already strong squad!”
After signing with the club, Ludovica stated: “After signing for the club, Ludovica said: “My first impressions of the club are very positive. I am excited to be part of this team and have felt a calm and professional atmosphere since my arrival. I am looking forward to improve this season, both personally and as a team. I aim to give my best to contribute to the success of the project, striving to be better every day to achieve the objectives the club has set for itself.”
