Como 1907 recognizes sport as a fundamental tool for spreading the culture of prevention and promoting 360-degree well-being.

On October 3rd, the Club renewed its support for the third consecutive year for "La Prevenzione in Piazza" (Prevention in the Square), an initiative promoted by ASST Lariana, ATS Insubria, and the Municipality of Como. The event involved various locations across the city, Piazza Verdi, Piazza Grimoldi, and Piazza Cavour, in a day dedicated to health, featuring activities, meetings, and services for people of all ages.
On the occasion of the initiative's third edition, the Club made available the "Senologia al Centro" mobile breast unit, set up in Piazza Cavour to offer free mammograms to women aged between 45 and 74. Throughout the day, 30 mammograms were performed, confirming the value of initiatives capable of bringing healthcare services closer to the community and promoting early diagnosis.
During the event, doctors from the Breast Unit of the Valduce Hospital and ASST Lariana, together with staff from the ATS Insubria Screening Center, were available to citizens to answer questions and provide further insight into health topics and routine check-ups.
Through its support of this initiative, Como 1907 confirms its commitment to the local area, recognizing that the role of a Club extends far beyond the pitch.
Indeed, contributing to the spread of a culture of prevention means fostering greater awareness and promoting the well-being of the entire community.
