During his time at Strasbourg, he guided the club to a seventh-place finish in the 2024/25 season, securing qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League. He then took charge of Chelsea midway through the 2025/26 campaign before making the move to the French capital this summer.
Paris FC's squad also features former Como winger Jonathan Ikoné, alongside Italian internationals Diego Coppola and Ciro Immobile, as well as former Serie A midfielder Maxime Lopez. It is a young, dynamic side, with exciting midfield talents such as Patrick Zabi and Rudy Matondo, and they will be looking to build on the strong foundations laid during the 2025/26 season. Last season, the Parisians recorded impressive victories over some of France's biggest clubs, beating Monaco home and away in Ligue 1 and overcoming Paris Saint-Germain both in the league and in the Coupe de France.
