It was a closely contested encounter from the outset, with the BiancoBlu dominating possession and moving the ball around in search of an opening.
The decisive moment came in the 43rd minute, when Douvikas won a penalty, which captain Lucas Da Cunha confidently converted with a left-footed strike past Stankovic.
After the break, the Lariani continued to create opportunities, maintaining control of possession and dictating the tempo of the game. The victory takes Como to 23 points in the league table.
The BiancoBlu will be back in action on Wednesday, 4 November, at 9.00 pm, when they travel to Lens for Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League league phase.
