Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of Italian defender William Cascella, who joined the BiancoBlu youth academy during the summer transfer window.
Born in 2010, Cascella joins Como after wrapping up his stint with Monza. A defensive fullback who can also play as a wingback, among Cascella's main strengths are his attacking drive and speed. With good technique and speed, the defender excels in both phases of the game.
Osian Roberts, Head of Development at Como 1907, commented: "We're very happy that William joined us. He is a promising young footballer, a defensive winger who possesses pace, instinct and technical flair that allow him to get forward. We are adding an important player capable of providing cover down the left flank, confident that his development is still ongoing".
William Cascella added: "I'm grateful to have become part of this project; it's the main reason I've joined the club. I see joining Como as an important step forward in my career ambitions; the pace and style of play practised here will help me develop further. I was made to feel welcome straight away by my teammates and the staff, and I'm looking forward to a great journey with them".
Welcome to Como, William!
