Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Alessandro Grigioni, who joined the BiancoBlu youth academy during the summer transfer window.
Born in 2011, Grigioni joins Como after completing his time at Inter. Last season, Alessandro earned a spot on the national youth teams, representing Italy’s U15 squad on three occasions.
Playing as a central midfielder and wing midfielder, Grigioni brings solidity, leadership, and effectiveness to the team’s build-up play.
Osian Roberts, Head of Development at Como 1907, had this to say about the new signing: "Alessandro is a versatile central midfielder, capable of playing in several positions and adapting to the team’s tactical requirements, as well as to the flow of the match. He already possesses considerable physicality, which he will continue to develop alongside his ability to move the ball, find space and provide balance to the team in defence. We are very pleased to have him with us and are confident that he still has plenty of room for improvement".
Alessandro Grigioni commented on his move to Como 1907 as follows: "I’m really delighted to be embarking on this journey with the club, in the city where I was born and raised. Como’s project is an ambitious and exciting one, especially for us young players, given the sporting and personal development it offers. I can’t wait to give my all for this club".
Welcome to Como, Alessandro!
