Como 1907 Women welcomes Swedish midfielder Freja Siri as the club continues to build its squad for a historic first season in Serie A Women.
The 1998-born midfielder joins from Madrid CFF, having previously played for KIF Örebro, Arna-Bjørnar, Racing Louisville and Real Madrid. During her time with Real Madrid, she made ten appearances in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
Siri has also represented Sweden at youth international level and brings experience from Sweden, Norway, the United States and Spain to Selena Mazzantini's squad ahead of the new season.
Heather O'Reilly, Head of Women's Football at Como 1907 Femminile, commented: "Freja is an excellent midfielder who has a good combination of a physical presence and good passing distribution. With her experience playing in the USA and Spain, she will be ready to dominate. I cannot wait to see her in Como".
Upon her arrival in Como, Freja Siri stated: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be here in Como, and I'll do everything I can to contribute my experience and what I've learned from playing in Sweden, Norway, the United States, and Spain. I can't wait to step up and start working to help the team".
