Como 1907 Women welcomes Polish international Martyna Wiankowska as the club continues to build its squad for a historic first season in Serie A Women.
The 1996-born winger joins after three seasons with Cologne in Germany. She previously represented Turbine Potsdam and began her career in Poland, winning one league title and two Polish Cups with Czarni Sosnowiec.
A senior international since 2015, Wiankowska has represented Poland at the UEFA Women's European Championship, in the UEFA Nations League, the Algarve Cup and FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying campaigns.
Bringing experience, pace and versatility on the left, she adds another important option to Selena Mazzantini's squad ahead of the new season.
Heather O'Reilly, Head of Women's Football at Como 1907 Femminile, commented: "Martyna has a fantastic left foot and can play anywhere on the left side, as a defender, wingback, or even more advanced. She is a strong and powerful player and is also very reliable."
Regarding her arrival in Como, Martyna Wiankowska said: "I'm very happy to be here and to have been given this opportunity. I'll work hard to try to help this team in every way possible."
