Como 1907 Women’s U19 Make History
Como 1907’s Women’s Under-19 team has secured the championship title in their first-ever season — a significant step forward for the club’s growing women’s program.
Led by Head Coach Mauro Roveda and Assistant Coach Samuele Piazza, the team’s consistent performances across the 2024/25 campaign have seen them finish the league unbeaten, with 21 wins and 1 draw from 22 matches. Their technical quality and teamwork were on display throughout the season, culminating in the last game title-clinching result.
The Under-19 category was introduced as part of the club’s wider investment in the women’s sector, and this early success reflects a strong foundation being built from the ground up. The title win also earns the team a place in the national qualification playoffs, which begin on April 26.
This progress is mirrored across other age groups. The Under-17s are currently top of their league at the halfway point of the return leg, while the Under-15s remain tied at the top with Monza — with goal difference likely to be decisive. At senior level, the first team is in contention for promotion to Serie C, with key fixtures ahead that will determine their path.
Together, these results mark an encouraging chapter in Como 1907’s development of women’s football — with a focus on long-term growth, support, and opportunity at every level.
