Como Hosts Juventus at the Sinigaglia for Serie A Enilive Return Leg This Friday

Como 1907 will host Juventus at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia on 7 February 2025 (h. 20:45) for the 24th matchday of Serie A Enilive. The Lariani aim to get back to picking up points after their games against Atalanta and Bologna, while the Bianconeri, coming off a 4-1 win over Empoli, seek to maintain momentum in the race for the top spots.

“Juventus is a strong team with a coach who has a clear idea of the game. By analysing his matches, you can see why he makes so many tactical decisions. Thiago Motta has an interesting vision of football, and facing such a team is a great challenge. It’s an incredible club, as we all know, but we want anyone who comes to Como to face a tough competition, a real battle. We are working to change the mentality and make every challenge difficult for any opponent—respectfully, but without fear.” Cesc Fàbregas, coach of Como 1907, in a press conference ahead of Como-Juventus.

Previous Encounters

Juventus have the upper hand in Serie A head-to-heads, winning 14 of 27 matches against Como 1907 (3 wins, 10 draws, 14 losses). The Bianconeri are unbeaten in the last 22 encounters with the Larians (13 wins, 9 draws), with Como’s last victory dating back to 20 January 1952 (2-0 at Sinigaglia).

In this season’s first meeting, Juventus secured a 3-0 win with goals from Mbangula, Weah, and Cambiaso. However, Como have been strong at home, winning three of their last five matches at Sinigaglia.

Players to Look Out For

Juventus’ attack is led by Dusan Vlahovic, who has scored eight league goals, alongside rising talent Kenan Yildiz, who has four. Timothy Weah is also one to watch, with five goals this season, while new signing Randal Kolo Muani has already scored in two of his first three matches in Bianconero.

In midfield, Khéhren Thurpam is a key player for Juventus, while Federico Gatti stands out in defence.
