Como 1907 have reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals for the first time in 40 years, defeating Napoli on penalties.

Martin Baturina opened the scoring from the spot in the 39th minute after a penalty won by fellow Croatian Ivan Smolčić, netting his fifth goal of the season. Napoli equalised in the second half, and the match ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.

In the shootout, Como converted 7 of their 8 penalties. The decisive moment came with Jean Butez’s final save, which secured qualification for the BiancoBlu.

In the semi-finals, Como will face Inter over two legs, with a place in the final at stake.
