Como Host Torino at the Sinigaglia on Sunday

Tomorrow, Sunday 13 April 2025, Como 1907 will face Torino at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia for the 32nd round of Serie A Enilive. The Lariani, coming off an important away victory against Monza (3-1), are eager to continue their progress. Torino, on the other hand, are seeking to gain points and strengthen their position in the standings.

‘We know what to expect from Torino, but the key is to approach the match with the right mentality to win, applying what we’ve worked on throughout the week. We’ll attack the areas where we believe we can cause damage, while reading the moments of the game carefully.

At Mozzate, I’ve built a path focused not only on football development but also on discipline, respect, and a strong work ethic. We aim to create a solid foundation, starting with our daily approach. In my view, we’re still some way from where we truly want to be in the future.’

Cesc Fàbregas, coach of Como 1907, speaking at the pre-match press conference.

Recent Encounters

Tomorrow’s match will be the 28th encounter between Como and Torino in Serie A (34th overall, including Serie B match). The record in the top flight favours the Granata, who have won 14 times, compared to Como’s four victories and nine draws. In the first leg (25 October 2024), Torino won 1-0. However, at the Sinigaglia, Como claimed victory in the last Serie A encounter against the Piedmontese (1-0 in May 2003) and will be aiming to replicate that success.

Players to Look Out for

In the Torino side, attention will be focused on the attacking department, where Ché Adams (8 league goals) and Eljif Elmas (4 goals) stand out, alongside the creativity of Nikola Vlasic and the thrust on the wings from Cristiano Biraghi. For Como 1907, the spotlight falls on Assane Diao (6 goals), as well as Nico Paz and Patrick Cutrone (6 goals each). Keep an eye on Jonathan Ikoné, who recently scored his second goal for Como in Monza, and on Maxence Caqueret, who is increasingly finding his rhythm in the Larian midfield.
