David Bell, ex Irish Women’s National Coach Appointed Interim Head Coach of Como 1907 Women’s First Team

Como 1907 is delighted to announce David Bell as the new interim head coach of the Como 1907 Women’s First Team. With over three decades of coaching experience, Bell has an impressive track record in women’s football. As a coach with the Irish Football Federation, he guided the Under-17 and Under-19 women’s national teams to European finals, earning a reputation for developing top female talent. His deep understanding of the women’s game makes him a valuable addition to the club.

Bell has also enjoyed a long and diverse career across England, Ireland, and Italy. He has been part of Como 1907 since 2022, coaching the Primavera team and managing the club’s youth sector. His experience includes roles in player development at Manchester United, Bristol City, and Cardiff City, further showcasing his ability to nurture players at all levels.

Heather O’Reilly, advisor to Como 1907’s Women’s Team, commented:
“Dave is a highly experienced and respected coach who brings exactly what our project needs at this moment. His deep knowledge of women’s football in Ireland and his work in developing top female talent speak volumes about his capabilities.
