Elite Performance Camp

For ambitious young players ready to level up, the Elite Performance Camp is the ultimate pre-season preparation. Across two intensive weeks, athletes train like professionals, learning from the same coaching philosophies and facilities that power Como 1907’s rise through the Italian leagues.

Held at the first team’s training grounds in Mozzate, the programme offers full immersion into the tactical identity of Como’s Serie A team. Players are taught to think fast, move with intent, and embrace a strategic, high-tempo game. “Our style is dynamic, fluid and intelligent,” says Osian Roberts, Head of Development. “It’s not just about talent. It’s about reading the game, making smart decisions, and moving with purpose”​.

Each player benefits from a personal development plan created by top-tier analysts. “We assess each individual daily,” Roberts explains. “They leave with a blueprint tailored to their game—something they can continue to build on beyond the camp”​.

Raphaël Varane, four-time Champions League winner and FIFA World Cup champion, and on the board of education for Como 1907 is also involved in the camp’s design. “We want to create the best environment possible for development,” he says. “That means professional facilities, expert staff, and most importantly, our values. We’ll help them improve in every area—technical, physical, tactical. Everything they need to reach the next level”​.

From performance testing to video analysis, language sessions to recovery protocols—this is the real deal. For the curious and the creative, the Discovery Summer Camp offers a week of exploration and fun—blending foundational football sessions with hands-on cultural adventures in one of the world’s most magical destinations.

Whether learning new skills on the pitch, rowing across Lake Como, or tasting local gelato, campers are encouraged to discover not just football, but themselves. “We believe in nurturing a love for the game,” says Roberts. “But also a love for life. This camp is about building confidence, making new friends, and experiencing the joy of being part of something special.”

Even at this younger level, the Discovery Camp is infused with Como 1907’s training philosophy—encouraging discipline, creativity, and teamwork in a safe, supportive setting. “This is where passion begins,” says Varane. “Not everyone will go pro, but every child will leave better, stronger, and inspired.”

Campers also get a taste of the Italian language and Como’s celebrated lifestyle. “We want them to feel like they belong here,” says Roberts. “Because they do.”
