Four New Additions to the Primavera BiancoBlu

Como 1907 is pleased to welcome four new players to the Primavera BiancoBlu, strengthening the squad with both domestic and international talent as the club continues to build for the future.

Osian Roberts, Head of Development, commented: “We’re pleased with the recruitment we’ve done at Primavera level during this transfer window. The balance of domestic and international signings reflects our ambition to bring in the right profiles to help develop young talent within the club. Credit must go to Ian Torrance, David Facchin, and their teams for their diligence and commitment in securing these players for Como 1907.”

Tommaso Nucifero joins Como 1907 Primavera after making 16 Serie D appearances for Pro Sesto 1913 in the first half of the season. He made his debut for the BiancoBlu in the victory over Virtus Entella earlier this month and provided a crucial assist for Pisano’s goal against Albinoleffe.

“We brought in Tommaso because we needed a left-back who could strengthen the team immediately. We’ve been tracking him for six months, ever since he played against us for Pro Sesto in a friendly. His performances so far have confirmed that we made the right decision,” said Primavera Sporting Director, David Facchin.

Thomas Diego Altomonte arrives from Serie D side SSD NovaRomentina, where he made 17 appearances and scored six goals. He has already made his debut for the Primavera, featuring in three matches and netting his first goal against Albinoleffe.

“Thomas joins us with an excellent reputation from NovaRomentina. He’s a left winger who scores goals, which is important for the balance of the team. He will add to our attacking options, and I like him because he works hard for the team,” added Facchin.

Andrèa Le Borgne, a French midfielder born in 2006, joins Como from Nice U19 after a spell with SC Air Bel U19. He made his debut in December during a 4-0 victory over Venezia and has since registered both his first assist and first goal in BiancoBlu colours against Virtus Entella and Albinoleffe.

“Andrea arrived in November on trial and immediately impressed us. He brings qualities that complement our midfield options, and I’m pleased with how he has performed on the pitch and how well he has settled into the group off it,” said Facchin.

Sven Lesjak, a Croatian centre-back, arrives from NK Varazdin U19. The promising young defender has already earned a call-up to the first team for the recent home match against Atalanta.

“We’re always looking for top international talent, and Sven is certainly that. Coming from Croatia, it will take time for him to adjust to the intensity of football in Italy, but he has already shown in his debut that he will be an asset to us,” said Facchin.
