Historic sixth consecutive victory
Como-Cagliari 3-1
Goalscorers: Adopo 32’, Caqueret 40’, Strefezza 45+1’, Cutrone 77’
After falling behind in the 32nd minute, Como 1907 responded decisively against Cagliari. Maxence Caqueret levelled the score with an elegant chip, expertly assisted by Máximo Perrone, his third assist this season.
Just before half-time, Gabriel Strefezza completed the turnaround with a stunning curling shot from outside the box, finding the top corner. It was the Brazilian winger’s sixth league goal, and his third in as many games, assisted by Nico Paz.
Patrick Cutrone sealed the win by celebrating his 100th appearance for Como in style, netting his seventh goal of the season thanks to another perfect assist from Nico Paz, his second of the match.
With this victory, Como is only the second newly promoted team to win six games in a row in a single Serie A season, after Lazio between February and April 1973 (eight in that case).
