Immediate impact off the bench for Ikoné 

Jonathan Ikoné, the French winger on loan from Fiorentina, broke the deadlock in the Lariani’s home match against Venezia on Saturday, putting the Bianco Blu ahead early in the second half.

“Just before going in, the coach told me he needed personality and for me to focus on one-on-one situations. He told me I had to make a difference.”  

Entering in the 45th minute, Ikoné found the goal just four minutes later, scoring his first goal in a Como 1907 jersey.

“I am happy with the goal, but I wanted to win. We played well, but we need to raise our level and improve in certain aspects. We work step by step to get better. We are a strong team, but we still have more to prove.
