Following their Champions League debut against Leipzig, the BiancoBlu are preparing to make their home debut in Serie A as well. Today at 6:30 p.m., Carlos Cuesta’s Parma will visit Cesc Fàbregas’s team in what promises to be a hard-fought match. In the penultimate Serie A match scheduled before the break, the BiancoBlu will give it their all to continue the positive streak continuing on victories over Napoli and Genoa.

Parma
The team led by Spanish coach Carlos Cuesta drew 0-0 at home against Como last season, only to lose 1-0 at Sinigaglia on a goal by Alberto Moreno.
The Emilia-Romagna side will now head to the Sinigaglia in search of their first Serie A win of the season after losing to Cagliari and Juventus and drawing with Monza. Parma is coming off a summer of several roster changes, and in their last two matches, they’ve fielded a solid 3-5-2 formation, a setup that excels at closing down space and making it difficult for the opposing team to string together passes and build attacks.
The BiancoBlu will face a familiar face in Diego Carlos, who made his Parma debut just last week against Monza. Up front, Parma has some new faces compared to last season: in their last match, new signings El Bilal Tourè and David Romero started, while another new addition, 2008-born Simone Lontani, came off the bench to score the game-tying goal and was named Man of the Match.
Como will face a solid team that excels in one-on-one battles and plays a very physical style: Del Prato, Troilo, Diego Carlos, Keita, and Ordonez are all players whose strengths lie in their ability to win duels and their physicality, while also bringing quality to the table.

In Serie A, at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium, Como and Parma have faced each other three times: the record shows two draws and one win for Como.
The BiancoBlu’s victory came last season, when Alberto Moreno’s left-footed shot under the crossbar, off an assist from Jesus Rodriguez, proved decisive in the Lariani’s narrow win.
