Como 1907 vs FC Famalicão | 3rd Place Match | 31/07/2026 at 18:00 CEST | Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia
FC Famalicão and Como 1907 take to the pitch with the aim of securing third place after showing promising performances in their respective group stage matches. In Group A, Famalicão recorded two goalless draws against Crystal Palace and Lens, losing on penalties to the English side before winning a shootout against the French team. The Portuguese side impressed with their quality of play in both matches, with Mathias de Amorim standing out for his excellent performance on Day 1 of the Como Cup.
Despite losing on penalties to Villarreal CF, Como 1907 took plenty of positives from Day 2. Gabrielloni's goal, the home debuts of Luis Milla and Kaiki in front of the BiancoBlu supporters, and goals from two more debutants — Andrés Cuenca against AlUla SC and Mattia Liberali against Villarreal CF — provided further highlights. Liberali's performance also earned him Man of the Match honours.
For the BiancoBlu, today's match represents another important opportunity to build chemistry within the squad and continue preparations ahead of the upcoming pre-season friendlies in England against Arsenal and Liverpool in mid-August.
