Group C of the 2026 Serie A Women's Cup is drawing to a close, and it's doing so in grand style, with the first-ever historic Como derby between Como Women and Como 1907 Femminile.
The Mino Favini Stadium in Meda will host the first-ever match between the two teams in what promises to be an extremely exciting contest.
Both teams are coming off losses: Como Women lost 1-0 to Juventus in Biella, while Como 1907 fell 2-1 to Milan at the PUMA House of Football.
Como 1907 will give it their all to secure the club's first points in Serie A Women's competition, and although the final result won't be decisive for the standings, the BiancoBlu will look to build on the positive performance seen in the second half against Milan to get a result, drawing on the energy provided by the importance of the match.
For Como 1907, today's match will be their final game of the season in the Serie A Women's Cup, after which their focus will shift to the Coppa Italia match on the road against Brescia, scheduled for September 20.

The BiancoBlu will face a Como Women team coming off two convincing performances: in their first Group C match, the team led by coach Paolo Tramezzani responded to Milan's early lead by tying the game with ten minutes remaining on a goal by Borbye.
In their second match against Juventus, Como Women fell behind early on but went on to deliver another performance marked by excellent organization on the field and defensive solidity, two traits that have certainly defined Paolo Tramezzani's team so far this season.
