Day 2 of the Como Cup comes to a close, a decisive day to determine the match-ups for the final phase. In the first scheduled match, Villarreal prevailed 3-0 over Al-Ula thanks to Perez's brace and Cardona's goal. Como then took to the pitch for their first match of the season in front of the home crowd at the Sinigaglia: the BiancoBlù responded perfectly to Al-Ula's initial lead, winning 3-1 courtesy of Cuenca's first goal for Como and goals from Azon and Gabrielloni. In the final match of the day, Mattia Liberali also scored his first goal for the BiancoBlù, slotting the ball into the net with a magical left-footed shot. Following Moleiro's response, Villarreal secured the victory on penalties, qualifying for the final against RC Lens. Como, on the other hand, will play the third and fourth place final against Famalicao, while Crystal Palace and Al-Ula will face off in the match for fifth and sixth place.
