Matteo Albini Called Up by Italy For the Under-17 European

Como 1907 will be proudly represented by Matteo Albini, who will don the Italian national team jersey at the Under-17 European Championship. The left-back, born in 2009, played a key role for the Primavera side that topped Group A of Primavera 2 and secured promotion. He is one of 20 players selected by Head Coach Daniele Franceschini for the tournament, which will be held in Estonia.

Albini and the Azzurrini will play all three Group B matches at the Kalevi Central Stadium in Tallinn. The first match is scheduled for today, Tuesday, May 26, at 1:30 p.m. (Italian time) against France. Next up is the match against Montenegro on Friday, May 29, at 1:30 p.m. (Italian time), followed by the group stage finale against Denmark on Monday, June 1, also at 1:30 p.m. (Italian time).
